As summer ends and the days start to get shorter, this change can have a dramatic affect on our mood.
Some people are seriously affected by this change in season and experience what is known as Seasonal Affective Disorder otherwise known as “SAD”. It can hit people as early as September usually once the Equinox has passed and can continue until Spring. My Mum used to suffer from this and I know if she had been given the choice she would have happily hibernated like a bear and not come out until the first rays of spring sunshine.
If you are lacking energy for everyday tasks, feel a little bit depressed, tearful, even snacking more than usual or not just feeling right you could be experiencing some symptoms relating to SAD.
Don’t go through winter feeling this way, please feel free to contact me to see how I may be able to help.
